Who Are We?
The Southern Maine Church of Christ is a friendly, loving group of believers. Some
may want to know what denomination we are, but we are in fact not a
denomination. We are just Christians who want to worship God, learn more about
His will for our lives, and encourage one another in the process! Our goal is
to do things the way the church in the New Testament did them, and in many ways
we are different than many denominations. We do not have a creed, and we do not
have a headquarters or governing body--the Bible is our only guide, and our
headquarters is in heaven! We are truth-seekers, and we pray that you will come
and seek the truth with us through in-depth Bible study and joyful, reverent
worship.
